Uncombining Wires

You can uncombine (split) a combined wire so that signals must use the separate wires.

Procedure

In the Design Browser (Design tab), right-click the combined wire and choose Uncombine.

Results

  • The combined wire is removed from the Design Browser (Design tab) and is traced back to the child signals for which it is relevant.

  • New wires are created for those child signals and are added below them.

  • Cavities and Splice are created as necessary.
