Exporting an Interface Connector Definition

You can export an interface connector definition as an XML file for use by other users (this is optional). The XML file contains just one interface connector definition that includes the connector name, names of cavities, names of backshells and terminations, and signal/option expression mappings for each cavity/termination.

Procedure

1. Right-click on the interface connector for which you want to export the definition and choose the Export Interface Connector Definition option from the pop-up menu. Alternatively, click the interface connector, press Space Bar and enter Export Definition.

2. The Export Interface Connector Definition dialog box displays. Browse to the folder where you want to save the interface connector definition file (XML file) and click the Export button.

3. Any messages display on the Export tab in the Capital Systems Integrator Output Window.
