Capital Cable Router Admin > Using Capital Cable Router Admin
Assigning the CCRS.CABLE User
Role
To enable Cabling Designers to define routing rules on cables in Capital Cable Router, System Administrators must create and configure the CCRS.CABLE user role in Capital Cable Router Admin and associate the role with each required project and user account.
Restrictions and Limitations
The CCRS.CABLE user role permits Cabling Designers to create and edit rules using the Define Rules and Preferences Dialog Box but restricts cable routing actions and modifications to cables, nodes, and segments. Caution The CCRS.CABLE user role does not restrict Cabling Designers from cable routing actions and modifications using Capital Cable Router Admin. System Administrators must consider if Cabling Designers should have access to the Capital Cable Router Admin application.
See the following topics to enable full access to edit, route, and authorize cables for Routing Engineers: Assigning the CMR User Role.
