Changing

the Home Instances of an Object or Pin

You can add / remove the home condition to / from an instance of an object or pin. There is no restriction on how many of the instances of an object / pin are home instances; you can have zero, one, or multiple home instances.

This video shows how to remove the home condition from an object and how to hide or show cross-reference text:

Procedure

To edit the home instance:

  • Select the object / pin instance. Press the space bar and enter Indicate Home Object or Remove Home Condition, and then select Home > X-Ref > Indicate Home Object or Home > X-Ref > Remove Home Condition from the Search Ribbon dropdown list.

  • Right-click the object / pin instance and select Indicate Home Object or Remove Home Condition.
