Deleting an Insulation Layer

There are multiple ways you can delete an insulation layer from an insulation run.

Procedure

1. Either:In the Harness Design Browser, navigate to Insulations > Continuous and then expand the insulation to which the insulation layer belongs.

Select the line style representing the insulation layer on the diagram.

2. Right-click and select Delete.

3. Alternatively, you can delete insulation layers from an insulation run using the Edit Insulation Run Dialog Box. To do this select the layer in the Insulation Layers table, and then click the Delete button.

Results

• The insulation layer is removed from the insulation run. Note If you have added the insulation layer as part of an insulation code (see “Object Type Information” in the Capital Project Manager User Guide) and then you must use the Edit Insulation Run dialog box to delete the layer.
