Choosing the Participation Status of Capital Product Analytics

You can choose whether Siemens Digital Industries Software products collect data analytics associated to your individual user account to enhance your user experience and improve features and functionality.

See Product Excellence Program and Digital Product Experience in the Capital Project Manager User Guide for more information on data collection and privacy.

The participation status set in this procedure is preserved for each individual user regardless of the system preference status and is stored as part of your system data.

Restrictions and Limitations

• Only the user logged into the application can update the participation status for their account using this procedure. System or User administrators cannot update this information for other user accounts. To change the participation status at the organization level, system administrators must use the Data Privacy system preference described in the following procedures in the Capital Project Manager User Guide:
  
  Turning Product

Excellence Program Off or On

						Turning Digital

Product Experience Off or On

Prerequisites

• The Product Excellence Program and Digital Product Experience programs are enabled by the system administrator for your organization using the Data Privacy system preference.

Procedure

1. Open the Edit User Account Dialog Box.

2. Click the Data Privacy tab.

3. Choose Agree or Decline to set your participation status for the Product Excellence Program and the Digital Product Experience.
