Nodal Network

The nodal network is generated when you export the cableway design from NX, creating a lightweight representation of the network using simpler lines that enable fast performance in cable routing.

The nodal network is an abstraction of the 3D cableway design into a logical set of connections represented by nodes connected by straight line segments, defining the paths along which cables can travel.

The available segments depend on the attributes of each segment, representing the physical nature of the cableway — for example, cross-section width and height, Segregation codes, and Fill types.

Sub-topics: Nodes, Segments, Cableway Equipment.
