Adding Standard Style Dimensions Automatically

You can place Standard dimensions automatically on all bundles or on a selection of bundles on a diagram.

Note

You can select the “Always create dimensions as critical” project preference, to set all dimensions placed on the diagram as Critical Dimensions.

Restrictions and Limitations

• Dimensions on loop bundles are not created automatically, if the loop has no Reference or Marker nodes on the path.

Procedure

Press Space Bar and enter Place Dimensions, or from the Home ribbon, click the Add Dimensions dropdown list and select Auto Place Standard Dimensions ().

Results

If no bundles are selected, dimensions are placed between every adjacent pair of nodes.

If you have selected bundles, dimensions are placed between every adjacent pair of nodes on the selected bundles only.
