Dictionary

Capital Devices provides the ability for device engineers to create and manage a dictionary of standard values which can be edited from the web client. This helps maintain design quality by enforcing standard names and values for devices, nets and systems.

The standard names for devices and nets can be authored directly via the web clients in Capital Devices (not just in the object type information held in Capital Project) and so is immediately accessible by device engineers. Additional properties can be associated with the names and propagated to the nets and devices when placed in designs.

Tip: You can use the drop-down menu in the top-right corner of the screen to switch between Component Library, the Dictionary and Capital Devices.
