Package Generation Feedback

Capital E/E Publisher also issues a report in its own console tab detailing documentation package generation status. This provides information, error listing and warnings on the elements and artifacts that comprise the Capital E/E Publisher package.

The instant feedback contains hotspots that link directly objects that may be causing issues allowing you to immediately correct and regenerate packages in cases where production problems may have occurred.

The Package Generation Feedback console tab comprises columns detailing the severity of the message, an explanation of, and hotlinks to the object causing the issue, as well as scope, category, design/build list and object information. The feedback can be filtered to show all, or selected areas by clicking the dropdown arrow at the top of each column.

Note

The feedback severity level is configurable and can be set to show either Information, Error or Warning. If the Warning level is selected then Error messages are also automatically reported along with Warnings.

To configure the package generation feedback level edit the setting in the \publisher\config.xml file located in your Capital installation.
