Adding a Block

You can add (create) a new block on a diagram.

This video demonstrates how to add a block:

Procedure

1. Press the space bar and enter Block.

2. Position the cursor over a grid point where you want to place one corner of the block.

3. Click and drag to place the opposite corner of the block.A gray rectangle is displayed.

4. Drag until the rectangle is the size that you want the block and click the grid point to place the opposite corner.

Results

• A new block is added to the Design Browser.

Tip

You can press R after clicking to place the first corner of the connector to rotate a block. Once you have placed the block its name is displayed vertically to the right of it.
