Exporting ICD Data

You can export ICD data in .zip file format so that it can be imported into an installation of Capital.

When you create a .zip file for export, the system creates two .xml files, one (icd.xml) for the ICD and the second (librarydevice.xml) for the library part associated with the ICD.

Prerequisites

If a restricted domain has been assigned to the ICD then you must have the requisite domain access rights otherwise the export will fail and an error message will be displayed.

Procedure

1. Select the ICD you wish to export from the list displayed and click the icon to access More Options.
2. Select Export from the options list.

Results

The exported ICD is automatically saved as a .zip file in the Download directory of your computer.
