Harness Designs
Associating a Style Set
with a Diagram
A style set is a collection of parameters that control the appearance of all aspects of a harness design, from the tables and component symbols that are displayed, to the line style, color, and visibility of insulation layer graphics.
You can change the style set currently associated with a diagram, to apply a different set of styling parameters.
Note
The option to create multiple style sets (a licensed operation) enables you to apply a different set of styling parameters to a diagram, or to multiple diagrams belonging to the same design, creating tailored content for specific purposes.
If you don’t have the appropriate license, the option to select a style set other than the default is not available.
Procedure
Navigate to the diagram whose associated style set you want to change in the Project browser, right-click and select Edit. The Edit Harness Diagram Dialog Box is displayed.
Select a new style set to associate from the Style Set dropdown list.
Click OK.
Before the new styling parameters are visible, you have to apply the style set to the diagram. With the diagram open, press Space Bar and enter Apply Style to All (or use the shortcut Ctrl+Shift+A). The diagram is updated to reflect the new styling parameters.
