Design Rule Checks Dialog

To access: Press Space Bar and enter DRCs.

Used to run design rule checks against designs to identify errors.

Objects

Build List

Select this tab if you want to run checks against a build list. Select the build list from the list at the top of the tab. Displayed only in Capital Systems Modeler or Capital Platform Designer. Optional.

Integrator Design

Select this tab if you want to run checks against a Capital Systems Integrator design. Select the design from the list at the top of the tab. Displayed only in Capital Systems Integrator or Capital Platform Designer. Optional.

Functional Design

Select this tab if you want to run checks against a Capital Systems Modeler design. Select the design from the list at the top of the tab. Displayed only in Capital Systems Modeler or Capital Platform Designer. Optional.

Topology Design

Select this tab if you want to run checks against a Capital Wiring Integrator design. Select the design from the list at the top of the tab. Displayed only if Capital Wiring Integrator is enabled in Capital Systems Modeler. Optional.

Harness Design

Select this tab if you want to run checks against a Capital Harness Designer design. Select the design from the list at the top of the tab. Displayed only in Capital Harness Designer. Optional.

Design Rule Checks browser

Displays the checks that you can run and whether a check generates an error (), a warning () or an information message () when it identifies something. See Design Rule Check Descriptions for Capital Systems Modeler for descriptions of checks. Click a plus sign (+) to expand a section of the browser. Click a minus sign (-) to collapse a section of the browser. Select the checks that you want to run and click OK to run them. Mandatory.
