Synchronizing

Without Change Policies or Build Lists

You can pass electrical data from wiring designs (created in Capital Logic Designer or Capital Systems Integrator) into one harness design (created in Capital Harness Designer) without using change policies or build lists.

Procedure

Open the harness design so that it is displayed in the Diagram window.
In the Project browser, right-click the required wiring design and select Synchronize. Note This action is available only if “Allow Synchronize without build lists” is selected in the Project Preferences Dialog Box for the project.

The Synchronize Harness Design dialog box is displayed.

Click Synchronize. The progress of the synchronization is displayed. Once complete, click Close. Details of the changes that have been made to the harness design are displayed in the Output Window.
