Editing a Multicore

You can use the Edit Multicores dialog box to edit a multicore on a harness design.

Procedure

Press Space Bar and enter Multicores, or right-click a multicore in the Harness Design Browser and select Multicores. The Edit Multicores Dialog Box is displayed.
In the Selected list, highlight the multicore you want to edit and click the Edit button. The Edit Multicore Dialog Box is

displayed.Note Depending on Behavior settings specified at the Project level, you may be prohibited from creating or modifying certain object attributes and properties. These are displayed as read-only. In general, it is only Capital Logic Designer, topographical and electrical attributes and properties that are protected and these should be modified prior to import into Capital Harness Designer. Other harness design attributes and relationships, for example, plugging / sealing a connector may still be modified as required.

Make any changes required to the multicore attributes or properties.
(Optional) For each end of the multicore, configure cut back attributes (or untwisted attributes for twisted multicores) as well as additional multicore end components on the Ends tab. See also the Edit Multicore dialog box topic.
(Optional) Configure wire marker information on the Additional Info tab. See also the Edit Multicore dialog box topic.
Click OK to close the Edit Multicore dialog box and save the changes, and then click OK, to close the Edit Multicores dialog box.
