Administering Domains, Roles and Users > User Groups
Assigning and Editing User Accounts in a User Group
You can add or remove user accounts in a user group directly from the group. Alternatively, you can edit the user groups to which a user account belongs directly from the user account itself.
Note
You can manage a user account in a Derived Access Control (DAC) mode whereby the user groups (and their assigned roles) to which the user belongs enforce the user’s permissions, read/write access to domains, and change policies. This mode means an administrator does not have to edit individual user accounts separately. See Derived Access Control.
