Import

Project and Generate Diagrams Dialog Box

To access: Press the space bar and enter Import Project & Generate Diagrams.

Used to import a project and use the Capital Schematic Generator for Logic Designer functionality to generate diagrams for the connectivity in the project.

Note

This action works only for generating diagrams for logical designs.

Objects

Field	Description
Look In	Select a folder location from the dropdown list and browse to the project file to import.
Border Selection	Select a border to use on the generated diagrams. Select [No Border] to generate the diagrams without a border.
Horizontal	Specify to align the border with the left, right, or center of the connectivity on the diagram.
Vertical	Specify to align the border with the top, bottom, or center of the connectivity on the diagram.
Regenerate Existing Diagrams	Select to regenerate any existing diagrams based on the currently specified settings.
Run Segment Overlay DRC	Select to run a design rule check that checks for overlaying conductor segments.
Show Schematic Style Editor	Select to open the Schematic Style Editor Dialog Box when you import the project. See the “Usage Notes”.
File Name	Specify the project XML file to import.

Usage Notes

If “Show Schematic Style Editor” is selected, the Schematic Style Editor Dialog Box is displayed as the project is imported to specify component styling, diagram layout styling, and to select a template (prototype) to apply to the imported diagrams.
