Smart Flows

You can generate quick start data (QSD) smart flows in a package to view them for guidance on various high‑level and domain‑specific processes in the Capital applications.

Procedure

  1. Generate a package for the QSD smart flows: Open the Projects > Quick Start > Process > Smart Flows project in Capital E/E Publisher.

Click the Publish action on the Capital ribbon at the top of the application. The Generate Documentation dialog box is displayed.

In the Packager field, click the dropdown list and select Smart Flow. In the Export To field, specify a location to generate the package. On the General tab, select the Smart Flows check box. Tip This means all of the QSD smart flows are included in the package. This is recommended because it means all of the links will work in the various swimlanes. See “Generate Documentation Dialog” in the Capital E/E Publisher User Guide for other fields in this dialog box.

Click Create Package.A progress bar displays and the package is generated in the specified location.

  1. Run the CapitalServiceExplorer.exe file in the package to view it.

Results

  • The smart flow package opens in your browser.

  • You can view any of the included flows. Figure 149: Automotive Generative Flow Viewed in Package

  • In the higher-level flows, steps sometimes link to lower‑level, domain‑specific flows. Figure 150: Link From Higher-Level Flow to Domain-Specific Flow

  • In all flows, some steps link to the conceptual HTML files. Figure 151: Link to HTML File
