Using Capital Harness Designer

You can use Capital Harness Designer LD to edit an empty design created in Capital Harness Designer / Modular or a design vaulted from Capital Harness Designer LD.

Select the design in Capital Project Manager, and then open and edit it in Capital Harness Designer LD. Changes are saved back into the Capital database.

The Capital design update is complete when you have transformed the LD data from the Capital database into the Capital Harness Designer / Modular design. See Creating and Editing using Capital Harness Designer LD.

Note

If the design is open in Capital Harness Designer LD, other users are prevented from editing the design and you cannot interact with or close Capital Project Manager.

You can record an audit trail for transferred library data, and the transform and vault design actions using the following event type preferences in Capital Project Manager. See “Audit Trail” in the Capital Project Manager User Guide:

Capital Database Manager LD Data transferred
Capital Harness Designer LD transformed into Capital
Capital Harness Designer LD vaulted
