Failure Cases for Split Multicore

There are various cases in which the Split Multicore action can fail.

The action may fail or be restricted under the following scenarios:

  • Multiple inline instances: There are multiple instances of an inline placed.

  • Shared multicore restrictions: Not all diagrams have all inner cores used from the root multicore.

  • Normal or nested multicore: For a normal or nested multicore, not all conductors in the hierarchy are part of a single inline instance.

  • Diagram space constraints: There is not enough space in the diagram to add the new terminations.
