Filter Selection Criteria

Dialog Box

To access: Click the ellipsis (...) button next to the Slot Internal Connectivity field (when Filter is selected in that dropdown list) on the Generate Wiring Diagram dialog box.

Use this dialog box to write filter queries based on attributes, properties, plug-in queries, or user-defined queries. These filters are used to specify for which slots the system generates slot internal connectivity in the generated diagrams.

Objects

Field	Description
Revert to initial criteria	Clears all filters from the dialog box.
Remove restriction(s)	Removes the selected filter row from the table.
Add restriction	If the Entities row in the table is selected, this adds a row in which you select a slot type. If a slot type row is selected, this adds a row in which you can select an attribute, property, the string User Defined Query, or the string Plug-in Query.
Attribute Name	You add rows for the available slot types, below which you add rows in which you select an attribute, property, the string User Defined Query, or the string Plug-in Query. In both types of row, the available items are displayed in a dropdown list when you double-click the cell.
Operator	For a slot type row, you do not enter a value. For an attribute or property, double-click the cell and select either ‘is like’, =, or != from the dropdown list. For a plug-in query or user-defined query, only IsEqualTo is available.
Value	For a slot type row, you do not enter a value. For an attribute or property, double-click the cell and enter a value. For a plug-in query or user-defined query, double-click the cell select the query name from the dropdown list.
