Value Table

A value table is a series of value and description pairs belonging to a signal. Where a signal has a Length [Bit] value greater than 1, then it is possible for it to carry multiple commands or values. You store these in the Value Table column of the signal in Capital Dictionary.

You can add, edit or delete value pairs in a signal's value table.

When you want to use a Value Table column for signals in Capital Dictionary, you must specify that in the webclient/configuration/dictionary/functionalsignalproperties.json file of your Capital installation. The following figure shows the necessary code for a Value Table column (as well as two other columns: Byte Order and Comments).

CAUTION: The Value Table column must have a specific "type" value of ValueTable. In addition, the functionalsignalproperties.json file must also contain an entry for Length [Bit]. That is, the signals in Capital Dictionary must also have a Length [Bit] column.
