Capital 2512 Release Highlights

Introduction

This document is a high-level summary of new features and enhancements in Capital™ software main release 2512, including new features and any authorization code changes required before installing. It is complemented by the "What's New in Capital 2512" and "What's New in Capital 2408.2412" documents (detailed feature descriptions), and the Release Notes documents (system administrator info and known-issue workarounds).

New Features

Security and user environment:

• Update designs in build lists and ECOs as per the user's domain access, and module codes during Capture & Apply ECO process.
• Change management: additional support for options and module codes in Change Manager.

Harness Manufacturing:

• Enhanced formboard diagram merge: efficiently merge large harnesses onto a single formboard.
• Teamcenter integrations: publish harness manufacturing information to Teamcenter to feed downstream manufacturing flow.

Authorization Codes

This release of Capital Essentials requires the license server to be running SLS v5.0.0.0 / FlexNet 11.19.8 based license server software.

• For the new capabilities in Capital Workspace, a new Capital Integration Server 4 REST license must be regenerated.
• For AI-assisted capabilities, a new license is needed: Capital Copilot Op SW (part number MG302338FL).
