Option and Module Descriptions in Dialogs

You can display either option / module names or option / module descriptions in dialog boxes where options or modules are listed.

Press Space Bar and enter Show Option/Module Description, to select either option or module names (cleared), or option or module descriptions (selected).

When option/module descriptions are displayed, they are followed by the option/module name in brackets.

For example:

V6 3.0L Engine[ENG_3.0/FM01] where V63.0L Engine is the option/module description, ENG_3.0 is the option name, and FM01 is the module name.

When just names are displayed, it reads ENG_3.0 or FM01.

If descriptions have been selected but no description has been given for an option or module, the option or module name is displayed in brackets, such as [ENG_3.0] or [FM01].

Note

Options displayed in the Diagram window and options displayed in option expressions will be displayed as the option name regardless of the setting.
