Usage Examples - Highlighted Harness Connector Matings
When you activate “Highlight connectors with multiple part numbers” on the Status Bar, the red Push Pin icon is displayed to identify device connector mating errors, and display the harness connector part numbers that are available in Capital Component Manager to validate the matings.
The red Push Pin icon () is displayed on harness connectors that have one or more matings under the following scenarios:
Multiple valid part numbers are available for the mating.
An invalid part number mating is assigned to the harness connector.
No part number is assigned to the harness connector when a valid part number is available.
Note
The following examples also apply if the harness connector has only one valid part number available in Capital Component Manager to validate the device connector mating.
| Scenario 1 | A valid part number is assigned to the harness connector but multiple valid part numbers are available. | The red Push Pin icon () is displayed to identify that multiple valid part numbers are available. Ctrl+click the harness connector to display the part number options in the Select Part list. Select one of the valid part numbers for P1. The green Check Mark icon () is displayed. |
