Create Revision Dialog Box

To access:

• Select the shared object in the Shared Objects Browser, and then press the space bar and enter Create Revision, or click the Create Revision button () on the Shared Objects Browser toolbar.

• Right-click the shared object in the Shared Objects Browser and select Create Revision.

Used to create a new revision of a shared object.

Objects

Field	Description
Name	The name of the shared object. You can either keep the previously used name, enter a new name, or click the ellipsis button (...) and select from a list of pre-specified names maintained in the project’s Object Type Information in Capital Project Manager.
Short Description	The short description of the shared object. Read‑only.
Revision	Enter a new revision for the shared object. Note The contents of the Name and Revision fields are displayed in red if the combination is not unique within the current project.
Domains	Specifies which domains must be assigned on your user account to access and edit the shared object. See Shared Objects and Domains.
Swap Out Revision	Select to swap out the original shared object revision for the new revision in designs.
