Wiring Designs from Capital Logic Designer
Wiring Design Association in 3D Electrical Design
To route wiring in the 3D electrical context, you must associate one or more wiring (logical) designs from Capital Logic Designer with it. When doing this, you associate a specific revision of each design.
You can associate more than one wiring design with the 3D electrical context. To do this, you can associate the designs individually or associate a build list.
You can replace a wiring design association with a newer revision of that design. When you do this, the 3D electrical context retains the device placement and wiring for common devices, and nets from those logical design revisions.
When you associate wiring designs, the system determines the optimum wire pathways though the network based on any defined rules and constraints. The results of that are displayed in the Sync tab of the Capital Output Window.
For instructions on associating wiring designs, see Associating Wiring Designs With the 3D Electrical Context.
For general information about wiring design association in Capital Wiring Integrator, see Logical Design Association in Capital Wiring Integrator in the Capital Wiring Integrator chapter of the Capital Logic Designer User Guide.
