Internode Dimensions Appearance

Internode dimensions display the distance between nodes, and the following node components:

  • Clip

  • Device

  • Dimension Node

  • Grommet

  • Insulation Run End

  • Multi-Location Component

  • Other

  • Splice

  • Spot Tape

Use the Object Decoration Dimension Internode settings in the Capital Diagram Styling User Guide, to configure the appearance of Internode dimensions.

Use the Internode Options settings in the Capital Diagram Styling User Guide, to configure which of the objects display Internode dimensions.

In Figure 254, Internode dimensions display as follows:

  • 20 units between node N1 and the insulation run end at node N2.

  • 42 units between the insulation run end at node N2 and the splice at node N3.

  • 64 units between the splice at node N3 and the clip at node N4.

  • 124 units between the clip at node N4 and the node N5. Figure 254: Internode Dimension Example 1 Figure 255 shows the same bundle but with Internode dimensions turned off for splices.

  • 20 units between node N1 and the insulation run end at node N2.

  • 106 units between the insulation run end at node N2 and the clip at node N4.

  • 124 units between the clip at node N4 and the node N5. Figure 255: Internode Dimension Example 2
