Overriding Nominal Origin Segment for Bundle and Insulation Decorations

You can automatically override default style settings and re-position Bundle, Insulation Layer or Insulation Run decorations. You can also reset overridden decorations back to their default positions.

Restrictions and Limitations

The functionality is only applicable for bundle, insulation run and insulation layer decorations.
The following procedure uses bundle decorations. The same steps can be followed for insulation layer and insulation run decorations by substituting the right-click selection methods described in the topic Override Nominal Origin Segment for Bundle and Insulation Decorations.

Prerequisites

A multi-segment bundle, with bundle decorations in their default style set positions, is available.

Procedure

Right-click any segment of the required bundle on the diagram (alternatively, right-click the bundle in the Harness Design browser or right-click a bundle decoration belonging to the required bundle) and select Override Styling > Change Origin Segment.The action becomes active.
Click a different bundle segment within the same bundle.All bundle decorations belonging to this bundle are moved to new positions using the chosen segment as an origin for their placement.
To return the decorations to their default style set defined positions, right-click the same bundle (alternatively right-click the bundle in the Harness Design browser or right-click a bundle decoration belonging to the required bundle) and select Override Styling > Reset Default Origin Segment from the menu.All the bundle decorations that were moved to a new position in Step 2, move back to their default style set defined positions.
