Deleting a Stacked Pin

When you delete a stacked pin you can delete both the stack and the individual pins, or only delete the stack and retain the pins.

Procedure

Select the stacked pin:

• To delete both the stack and individual pins, press Delete.

• To delete only the stack and to retain the pins, press Ctrl+Delete.

Results

• If you deleted both the stack and the pins, they are all removed from the design.

• If you deleted only the stack, it is removed from the design. The pins are moved to the Unplaced Pins folder under the object in the Design Browser and can be re-placed onto the object using the Place Pins Dialog Box [Non-Shared Objects] or the Place Pins Dialog Box [Shared Objects].
