Adding an Inner Core to

a Multicore

You can add a wire as an inner core of an existing multicore. This includes adding a multicore as an inner core, creating a nested multicore.

Procedure

  1. Press Space Bar and enter Multicores. The Edit Multicores Dialog Box is displayed.

  2. Select the multicore to which you are adding an inner core in the Selected list.Note If you are adding an inner core within a nested multicore, click the [+] symbol to the left of the multicore to view the internal configuration and select the level at which you want to add the inner core.

  3. The wires and multicores that are selectable as inner cores are displayed in the Available list. Select the wire or multicore and then click Add. The item appears in the Selected list as an inner core of the parent multicore.

  4. Click OK, to confirm the addition and close the dialog box.
