Trimming a Standard Style

Dimension

You can use the Trim Dimension action, available from a context menu, to correct a reversed or offset dimension arrow head hat may display on Standard Style dimensions which have been added to objects on short bundle lengths.

Trim Dimension and Undo Trim Dimension only display in the context menu when a dimension line with a reversed or offset arrowhead has been selected.

Prerequisites

• A Standard Dimensions has been added to a diagram and is displaying with a reversed or offset arrow head.

Procedure

1. In Figure 272, the dimension arrow head to Clip2 has been offset because of the short distance between Clip2 and Node N101.Figure 272: Offset Arrow Head

2. Right-click the dimension line and select Trim Dimension.

Results

• The arrow head displays as expected, Figure 273.

• Right-click the dimension line and select Undo Trim Dimension, to toggle the arrowhead display back to its original state. Figure 273: Trimmed Arrow Head
