Capital Wiring Integrator
Capital Wiring Integrator
Overview
Capital Wiring Integrator enables you to create topological designs and diagrams from within Capital Logic Designer. Wiring designs from Capital Logic Designer can be associated and synchronized with topological designs, and multiple topological designs can be grouped together in a build list.
Note
Capital Wiring Integrator is an add‑on to Capital Logic Designer and requires a valid license to enable (expose) the functionality. Contact Capital Support to obtain a license. You can launch Capital Logic Designer with or without Capital Wiring Integrator enabled. See Launching Capital Logic Designer.
Your system administrator enables access to add‑on functionality, such as Capital Wiring Integrator, using license policies and user groups. See also “License Policy” in the Capital Access Manager User Guide.
The Capital Wiring Integrator functionality is available within Capital Logic Designer only when a Capital Wiring Integrator diagram is active.
You can synchronize Capital Wiring Integrator designs with Capital Harness Designer or exchange with MCAD tools using one of the Capital MCAD topology connectors. See also “Capital Wiring Integrator Connectors” in the Capital Connectors User Guide.
You can report on topological data using the embedded reporting capability or Capital E/E Reporter. See also the Capital E/E Reporter User Guide.
Capital E/E Insight
Capital E/E Insight is an additional product that enables you to conduct physical architectural trade studies on designs created in Capital Systems Integrator, Capital Wiring Integrator, Capital Harness Designer, and Capital Harness Designer Modular. These studies use metrics to compare design data, for example, using cost and weight.
