Reference Pins

You can add reference instances of pins to objects for illustration purposes. For example, you can place a reference instance of a pin on an instance of a shared object so that the pin’s position on the object is indicated on this instance of the shared object, even though the non-reference instance of the pin is not placed on this instance of the shared object.

On a diagram, a reference pin is represented by a cross . You cannot connect a conductor to a reference pin, as reference pins are not designed to be used to define connectivity - they are intended to be used for illustration purposes only.
