Setting Individual Active Harness Levels for a Harness

You can set individual active harness levels for a harness. Wiring synthesis then routes wiring only for the active harness levels of each harness.

Procedure

Do one of the following:

• Check the box next to the harness level in the Configuration Setting Browser Window (Configuration tab).

• Right-click the harness name in the Design Browser (Design tab) and choose Define Harness Levels; the Define Harness Levels Dialog Box displays a list of harness levels for the harness. Select the Set as Active box in the row for harness level that you want to set as active and click the OK button.

Results

• The harness level is now active.

• The details for it display on the Active tab at the bottom of the Configuration Setting Browser Window (Configuration tab).

• When you hold the mouse cursor over a harness name in the Design Browser (Design tab), the active levels for that harness display.
