Objects
| Object | Description |
|---|---|
| Pause change output Resume change output | Click to pause the change history functionality when performing actions for which you do not want to report changes. Click when you are going to perform actions for which you want to report changes. |
| All Attributes | This controls which attributes and properties are compared by the change history functionality. Select All Attributes if you want to see changes for both the default sets and additional sets of attributes and properties configured in the config/changehistory_config.properites file. Do not select it if you want to see changes for just the default sets. See Configuring the Attributes and Properties Displayed in Change History. See Usage Notes section for a video showing examples of the Change History tab behavior with and without All Attributes selected. |
| Last Action / Last Save | Select whether you want to see the changes in the design from when you last saved, or for the last action. See Usage Notes section for a video showing examples of the Change History tab behavior with Last Action or Last Save selected. |
| Indicates the last action that you performed on the design. If the last action caused no wiring changes, the tab does not display it. | |
| Save To CSV | Displays an Export Change History dialog box, where you specify the file name for a CSV file, and the location where you want to save it. The CSV file will contain the change history results currently displaying on the Change History tab. |

You can sort a column by clicking on the column header. You can also filter the column by holding your cursor over the column header, and clicking . See “Filter Popup” in the Capital Design Tools - Common Functions User Guide. |

| Name | Name of changed object. |
| Signal Name | The signal passing through the object. |
| Change Type | The type of change, such as modified or moved. Caution Change History functionality expects wires, devices, and connectors in a harness to have unique names. If you have objects with duplicate names in a harness, Change History cannot report changes for them and instead reports them with a Change Type of "Duplicate". |
| Harness | The harness on which the changed object is located. |
| Attribute/Property | If appropriate, an attribute or property that has been changed on the object. |
| From | Value depends on object and change: The value that an attribute or property had before the change. The connector and pin to which the object connected before the change. |
| To | Value depends on object and change: The value that an attribute or property has now (after the change). The connector and pin to which the object now connects. |
