Extra Cavity Components

To access: click the Edit button, (), in the Extra Components field of the Cavity Component Management Dialog Box.

Used to select one or more components from both a connector’s housing definition and from the component library in general to apply to a connector cavity.

Objects

Field	Description
Housing Definitions Grid	Lists all of the components in the connector’s housing definition defined for the cavity that can be selected as an extra cavity component. In addition, lists components that are not part of the housing definition but that are currently applied to the connector cavity. To select one or more components, select the check boxes to the left of the Part column before clicking OK.
Add	Opens the Part Selection Dialog Box where you can search for a component that is not part of the connector’s housing definition. When you select a part, it is listed in the Housing Definitions Grid
