Modeling the 3D Cableway

Preliminary routing paths can be matured into fully defined cableways using cableway modeling tools in NX to detail the routing network.

You can perform the following tasks to place the mechanical components that will form the physical structure of the cableway.

Replace the space reservations with the following detailed cableway equipment examples: Trays

Elbows

Tees

Hangers

Penetrations

Place components on existing routing segments.
Place penetrations to guide and protect cables through bulkheads and deck structures.
