Editing the Mix Rates

for Vehicle Models

The Edit Vehicle Model Mix Rates dialog box enables you to enter annual mix rates for vehicle models in a pro product plan. The entered mix rates are used by the system when calculating take rates.

Prerequisites

• You must have a valid Capital Configuration Optimizer license and you must have enabled it. Note The system administrator enables access to add-on functionality (such as Capital Configuration Optimizer) by using license policies and user groups (see “License Policy” in the Capital Access Manager User Guide.

• You must have entered the pro product plan data.

Procedure

1. Right-click a pro product plan in the Project Browser Window and choose Take Rates; the Take Rate Editor Dialog Box displays and the Option take rate table shows the current take rates for the options in the product plan.Note With a design open in the diagram window, you can press Space Bar, enter Take Rates, and select the Take Rates ribbon action. This opens the Take Rate Editor for the plan associated with the open design.

2. Click the Edit Mix Rates () button next to the Annual Volume field on the Take Rate Editor dialog box.The Edit Vehicle Model Mix Rates Dialog Box displays.

3. Enter the mix rates for vehicle models by double-clicking the cells, and click OK when finished.Note If any vehicle models do not have a user-entered mix rate, the system calculates an even distribution of the remaining unallocated percentage. For example, if the user-entered mix rates for vehicle models add up to 70.00%, and there are three vehicle models with no user-entered mix rates, the system calculates a mix rate of 10.00% for each of those three models (that is, the unallocated 30.00% evenly distributed across them). These system-calculated mix rates are grayed out. In the following screenshot, 35.00% is user-entered, and 3.00% is system-calculated.

Results

Capital Configuration Optimizer uses the mix rates when calculating cost.
