3D Electrical Design Interface in Designcenter NX

The 3D Electrical Design interface is divided into discrete areas, each offering consistent functionality in both Designcenter NX and Capital.

#	Component	Description
1	Quick Access toolbar	Contains commonly used commands such as Save and Undo.
2	Ribbon bar	Organizes commands into tabs and groups, including the Capital ribbon tab that holds ribbon actions for Capital functions.
3	Top Border bar	Contains the Menu and the Selection group commands.
4	Resource bar	Contains navigators and palettes, including the Capital navigator.
5	Capital Navigator	Gives access to Capital design and wiring. Contains the following: Design Browser Wiring Browser
6	Graphics window	Displays documents from Designcenter NX and Capital in either tabbed or tiled mode.
7	Capital output window	Displays various tabs related to particular actions:. Sync Tab Routing Assistant Design Rule Checks Output Window Back Annotate
8	Predict commands	Displays a list of commands to complete your task. Designcenter NX collects data about how you use commands, analyzes this data to determine the frequency and sequence of use, and suggests a list of appropriate commands, including Capital commands, for you to use next.

Cross-highlighting

Selecting an object in either the Capital navigator window or the graphics window will highlight it in the other windows.
