Name Selection Dialog

Box (for Signal)

To access: Right-click on the signal and choose Properties: a properties dialog box displays. Then click the ellipsis button next to the Name field.

Used to select a network signal stored in Capital Signal Modeler to map to the function signal.

Caution

You can also access the Name Selection dialog box by double-clicking on the signal name in the diagram window and clicking the ellipsis (...) button next to the Name field. However, this will update the signal name only. It will not update other attributes and properties with values from the dictionary signal.

Objects

Object Description
Network Signal Table Lists the network signals stored in Capital Signal Modeler that are available for mapping to the function signal. Select the required network signal.By default, this dialog box displays the name, revision, description, and short description for each signal. Note The table headers allow you to sort and filter each column. The dropdown list enables you to select a specific value from the column. Alternatively, you can enter a string into the header field (contains the string All by default); the table then displays only rows in which that column contains the entered string.
OK Click this after selecting the required network signal.
