Creating

a Module Code Combination at Project Level

You can create a module code combination and its valid selections.

Procedure

1. Press Space Bar and enter Functional or Production Module Codes.If you are using Capital Project Manager, expand the Module Code Maintenance folder in the project tree and double-click the Functional or Production node. The Module Code Dialog Box is displayed.

2. Click Create a New Module Code Combination ().A new module code combination is added to the Module Code browser on the left of the dialog box.

3. Specify the Name for the module code combination.

4. From their location in the Module Code browser tree, drag and drop the codes (to be included in the module code combination) to the appropriate module code combination node.The module code is listed under the module code combination, as well as in its original location in the tree.

5. Repeat Step 4 for each module code that you want to add to the module code combination.

6. Select the module code combination in the Module Code browser.The module codes are displayed as columns in the Valid Combination table.

7. Click to add a valid selection row to the table.

8. Specify a unique identifier for the valid selection in the Name column.

9. Select the module codes that are included in the valid selection.

10. Repeat Steps 7 through 9 for each valid selection in the module code combination.

11. Repeat Steps 2 through 10 for each module code combination that you want to create.

12. Click OK.
