Capital Harness Designer > Capital Harness Designer User Guide > Bundle Configuration
Bundle Configuration
The bundle configuration is the backbone of a harness design, providing the skeleton through which wiring is routed, and onto which components and insulations are placed. The configuration is built up by placing bundles onto the diagram, connecting them at structure nodes.
Topics in this chapter explain how to create a harness topology by placing bundles and structure nodes onto a diagram, including (list condensed from source, truncated):
- Bundle Overview; Loop Bundles
- Converting a Flex Bundle to Full Scale Bundle / vice versa
- Defining a Datum Node
- Adding a Static / Dynamic / Multi-Node Bundle; Defining a Bundle
- Overriding Graphical Bundle Length; Controlling Bundle Order; Bundle Width
- Creating a Variant Bundle; Bundle Merging; Bundle Manipulation
- Editing the Attributes and Properties of a Bundle
- Disconnecting / Deleting a Bundle; Deleting a Variant Bundle
- Rule Based Wire Routing; Wire Path Highlighting
- Override Bundle Decoration Positions; Bundle Junctions (and further topics not captured — see full guide)
