The Output window is located on the lower-right side of the application window, between the Diagram window and the Status Bar.

The Output window contains the following tabs:

  • Capital Logic Designer Displays application status updates and command notifications. Right‑click to select, copy, clear, or save the tab contents.

  • Comments / Notes / Checklist These three tabs are used to collaborate with other users of the Capital design tools by communicating within the design tools themselves. See Introduction to Collaborate and Collaborate Dialogs in the Capital Design Tools - Common Functions User Guide.

  • Propagate Harness Displayed if you add or modify a harness attribute value on an object. You can choose whether the harness attribute value is applied to the objects in the connectivity set when you use the Propagate action. See also Propagating Harness

Attributes by Connectivity.

  • Replace Symbol

Displayed if you replace symbols on object instances using the Map Pins Dialog Box. Identifies the design object and the
replacement symbol and describes the graphical modifications to the associated
                  pins on the diagram.

  • Resolution Displayed if you merge a non-shared object into another non-shared object, or share an object into an existing shared object. The table in the Resolution tab lists any conflicting property or attribute values in two objects, and shows how those conflicts were resolved.

  • Update Displayed if you update devices managed using Interface Control Documents (IDC) in Capital Device Modeler. Used to report errors and changes to the design if the ICD is modified.
