Locating Where Signals Are Used in Designs

From Capital Dictionary, you can identify the designs in which a particular signal is used. This is useful if a signal has become obsolete or needs to be updated in a design.

Procedure

1. In the Signals panel, select the signal by clicking the tick at the start of the row; the "Locate the designs in which the signal is used" button becomes enabled.
2. Click the "Locate the designs in which the signal is used" button; a "Usages for Signal" table displays.

Results

The table displays the following information for each design:

Column	Description
Project	The project containing the design.
Design	The design name, its revision, and its short description.
Design Type	The type of design: platform or functional.

Note: You can filter and sort the columns in the table. You can use this functionality for one signal at a time.
