Generic Multicore Dialog Box

To access: Press the space bar and enter Add Multicore, and then select Home > Multicore > Add Multicore from the Search Ribbon dropdown list.

Used to create non-shared multicores and to add / remove conductors from a non-shared multicore.

Objects

Field	Description
Available Conductors	Lists the non-shared nets, wires, and multicores that you can add to a multicore in the Multicores list. A conductor can belong to only one multicore or overbraid at a time. Conductors that have already been added to a multicore or overbraid are not displayed in the list. However, if you create a new multicore is displayed in the Available Conductors list the next time you access the dialog box. Restriction You cannot add shared conductors to a non-shared multicore. You cannot add multicores that do not have any inner cores to a multicore.
Multicores	Lists the non-shared multicores in the design or that have just been created in the Edit Multicore Dialog Box. The conductors in the multicore, and its indicators, display as child nodes of the multicore.
Add From Library ()	Click to open the Part Selection Dialog Box to add a multicore with a library part to a design.
Add a new Multicore ()	Click to open the Edit Multicore dialog box to add a multicore without a library part to a design.
Edit ()	Only available when a multicore is selected in the Multicores list. Click to open the Edit Multicore dialog box to edit the name of the multicore that is selected in the Multicores list or to change its indicators type.
Delete ()	Only available when a multicore that does not have a library part assigned is selected in the Multicores list. Click to delete the multicore that is selected in the Multicores list.
Add / Assign ()	Only available when a multicore that does not have a library part assigned is selected in the Multicores list and a conductor is selected in the Available Conductors list, or when a library part inner core is selected in the Multicores list tree and a conductor that can be associated with that library part inner core is selected in the Available Conductors list. Click to add the conductor that is selected in the Available Conductors list to the multicore that is selected in the Multicores list, or to assign the conductor that is selected in the Available Conductors list to the library part inner core that is selected in the Multicores list tree.
Remove / Unassign ()	Only available when an inner core in the design is selected in the Multicores list tree. Click to remove the conductor that is selected in the Multicores list from its multicore.
