Add Shared Ports Dialog Box

To access: Click the New button on the Associate Ports tab of the Share Dialog Box [Functions], or on the Ports tab or Associate Ports tab of the Edit Shared Function Dialog Box.

Used to add ports to an function’s shared port list when promoting a function to be shared or when editing a shared function.

Objects

Field	Description
Port Name Prefix	The prefix that you want at the start of the port names.
Start Index	The number from which you want the port names to start.
No of Ports	The number of ports that you want to add.

Usage Notes

The port names are formed from the port name prefix and a number. For example, if you specify a port name prefix of P, a start index of 7 and 3 ports, ports with names P7, P8 and P9 will be added.
