Cableway Equipment

Cableway equipment items are a collection of 3D parts that form the physical cableway structure used to carry cables in the vessel.

You can use the following typical cableway equipment types in the 3D design of vessels. See also Modeling the 3D Cableway (Detail Modeling).

Types Examples Description
Solid Cable Trays Provides continuous support for cables along the segment.
Ladder Racks Enables efficient installation of complete networks and create strong, long-term support for cables.
Basket Trays Enables cables to drop off the cableway at any point along the segment.

Types Examples Description
Cable Hangers Available as single and multi tier hangers.
Types Examples Description
Penetrations Protects cables on the route through apertures between objects or the structure of the vessel, such as room dividers, bulkheads, and decks.
Multi Cable Transit (MCT) Seals multiple cables individually through penetrations.
