Copy Harness Diagram Dialog Box

To access: Right-click a diagram in the project browser and select Copy.

Used to create an identical copy of the selected diagram. All decoration positions, manually added graphics, and text symbols are included in the copy.

Objects

Object	Description
Name	A label to identify the harness diagram. Defaults to the name of the selected diagram appended with “Copy”. Optionally, click the ellipsis (...) button to the right of the field to open the Name Selection Dialog Box to select from a list of pre-specified harness diagram names maintained in the project’s Object Type Information in Capital Project Manager.

Usage Notes

The “Copy” menu action does not display if the parent design is not editable (for example if its Release Level prohibits editing).
Merged Harness Design diagrams cannot be copied.
Diagrams using the skeletal style cannot be copied.
You cannot create a diagram with the same name as an existing diagram in the same design. Text is shown in red where this is the case.
If the design contains pending changes, a tooltip is displayed on the OK button and the pending changes are saved.
The system automatically generates new names for any fixtures and their additional components on the copied diagram.
